life in perth starts here!


It was a very busy place that day because it was the start of the holidays. At changi airport, i sat at mac's with my parents and brother, wondering where everyone was. Then after a while, we went down to the "big black board" as the teachers put it; and met everyone. I saw Fahimah's sister and unfogiveably mistook her for fahimah. The night was irritating me. Anyway, i was telling some stupid jokes to Cynthia, Genn and Fahimah. Now back to the story. We went throught the usual procedures of luggage stuff, passport, blahhhs and bleahhhs...


Then we went on to fill up our cards. Although we were VERY tired, Genn, Cynthia and myself pushed ourselves to camwhore. I have to say, camwhoring with Genn is as fun as playing Sims -2. Okay, maybe that's a little exaggerated- but those who play would know that it takes a long time to stop. Fortunately, i have stopped playing it for a few months so i am not going to compare anything with it anymore. I am actually waiting for the pictures to be uploaded while i am typing all this nonsense. Forgive me. Okay, the pics have been uploaded. LIKE FINALLY.

And so we started on our journey. We got into the plane and well, i was in between Levina and Valerie. I wasn't too keen because i was NOT close to them. However, miracle dust was sprinkled on me and they wanted me to exchange places with Monisha. Levina and Valerie are okayy, just that, you know the dreaded feeling you get when you sit with someone whom you're not really close to? In the end, i had a seat beside Eleanor and Yan Ling. (: They were nice to sit with! I found out about Yan Ling's obsession with grapes :D and Eleanor's obsession with...

ELEANOR, WHAT WAS YOUR OBSESSION?

Anyway, they were a funny pair to sit with! In the middle of the flight journey i wake up to a mysteriously bimbotic questioning of "who wants breakfast?". wow.

excuse me? Breakfast at 4 am was common in planes but couldn't you see that i was SLEEPING?

Great. To the garbage bin my sleep went. About a few hours before we landed, Fahimah, Cheryl and I were standing in front of the washroom, waiting for this guy who was taking ridiculously long to come out. In the end, we ended up talking to Mr.Jiow, who was also queing for the washroom(i think). I do not remember what the four of us were talking about, but it had something to do with the guy inside the toilet. Finally, he did come out, much to our satisfaction, but spoiled my mood to use the washroom and i just stood there sulking. We felt really cold so we asked the steward for a cup of hot/warm water. The steward is very cute in a funny way! *Laughs* He did fetch us the water, but guess what? I burned my tongue because it was BOILING hot. Not WARM mind you. But(i know is bad to start a sentece with "but" but i dont feel like applying it here), HOT. So hot that i let out a half scream, which made Fahimah and Cheryl laugh! A guy inside, whom i believe to be a very important person on the plane(someone who had smt to do with Singapore Airlines), and when i say inside, i mean the kitchen of the plane. The person who looked about in his 50s, extended his hospitality by asking, "would you like some food?" I feel that it was very kind of him. He probably asked that because he was thinking, "poor little girls, they look scrawny!" haha. I'm just kidding. Fahimah, no offence intended. And so that was our little adventures on the plane that left for perth.
